Fast, lightweight websites for small businesses. Your site loads in under a second, ranks well on Google, and costs almost nothing to host. Fixed prices, delivered in days.
Why static sites
Heavy website builders pile on plugins, updates and security patches. A static site is plain, pre-built pages served from a global network, so there is less to break and nothing to slow it down.
Google ranks fast pages higher, and visitors leave slow ones. Speed is the first thing we build for.
No plugin updates or database to hack. Your site keeps running whether you check on it or not.
On larger packages you get a simple editor, so your team can change text and photos without touching code.

How it works
Send us your current site. We'll show you how fast it is today and what we'd change.
We agree on a package and a fixed price. A 50% deposit starts the work.
You watch your site take shape on a private preview link and tell us what to change.
After the final 50%, we connect your domain, go live, and hand over everything you own.

About
Far Peak Studio is a veteran-owned web studio based in Tokyo. The name comes from our founder's family name, Yokoyama (横山), "the side of the mountain," and from the idea that a good website should be like a peak you can see from far away.
We work in English and Japanese, use modern tools to build quickly, and personally review every line before it goes live.
